More than 150 people supported me in the Walk-A-Fun to raise money for curing cancer and my school. Some kids gave up a month’s allowance to pledge for me. Other kids put their money together to support me. A Girl Scout Troop near where I live put money together to pledge for me. I received pledges from Florida, Mississippi, New York, Texas and from many other places in the country. In four hours I was able to walk 6 miles!!!
I raised nearly $70,000 and that amount was matched by my Aunt Cathy and Uncle Alex.
A total of $140,000!!
